About Us

The Park Art Group, is a voluntary, not for profit painting group.

Under the tutelage of well known and highly regarded Dun Laoghaire artist Ms Naomi Peppard, and previously Mr.Tom Roche, we have been painting together for over 25 years.

Since Tom and his late wife Aisling first opened their home to the original enthusiastic participants, the group has expanded to number over 70 artists today. The group moved to the Grainstore in Cabinteely Park in 1999 and in 2007 moved again to the Presbyterian Church Hall on York Road where it is currently based.

This bright and airy hall provides an ideal space enabling talented and committed artists of all levels to produce their best work in a friendly and supportive environment. Classes take place every Tuesday and Wednesday during term for both oil and watercolour painters. During the summer months, outings are organised to various scenic locations where the artists enjoy painting ‘en plein air’. Most important of all, we have great fun!

Some in the group are also members of the Dublin Art Society, the Dublin painting and Sketching Club and the Watercolour Society of Ireland.

New members are always welcome!
